Amateur friendly and uncomplicated, the kind you can enjoy yourself and confidently share with family and guests. Beaumont is a 10 yr old, true blue roan, Percheron Cross gelding, standing 16 hands.
Beaumont is confident and steady on the trail. He crosses water, downfall, and natural obstacles with ease. Goes up and down inclines, carefully navigates uneven terrain, and remains composed in new or challenging environments. Beaumont has accompanied us on camping trips, ties overnight on a tie line. Rides in a group, but he is just as equally reliable exploring out alone.
Well trained, uncomplicated, and user-friendly, Beaumont easily adapts to his rider. He travels both directions on the correct lead, moves laterally, and offers smooth, easy transitions. He responds to leg and seat cues, will ride out on a loose rein or collect nicely in the bridle. He shows potential for both traditional and western dressage. Has been started over fences, and is bold, brave, and athletic with plenty of scope and the mind for fox hunting.
Beaumont is a reliable driving partner. Safely driven by both women and children, never forward or pushy, and is traffic safe. He stands patiently to harness and hitch.
