I am a high school barrel racer, I recently bought a horse that I had planned to be my rodeo horse. I love this horse so much. He is the sweetest horse I have ever met, he just wants to be your friend. When I took him to my first high school rodeo, he was anxious and hot. I know I was definitely nervous too and that projected on to him. I have only been barrel racing for a couple years on more push style babysitter type horses, I came to the realization that I am not advanced enough to handle such a good barrel horse. When I originally put him up for sale I put him up as a 1d/2d barrel horse. I know with the right rider to work through his alley issues he could do rodeo and like it again, still running fast times, but he would need a very confident patient rider who is willing to work through it with him. However right now I do not think rodeo is a happy place for him. Tiny has such a good demeanor, outside of a rodeo setting you would never know that he was a barrel horse. He can be fancy, walk, trot, jog, lope at any speed you ask, he collects, counter arcs, stops backs up, and makes a fantastic trail horse. He will go out on the trail by himself and with friends, I have never had him spook. He's ridden by cars, trains, bikes, other horses calling out to him, construction sites with tarps blowing around all by himself and handling it like a champ. He walks down the road barefoot and is sound. I have really enjoyed riding him, but my brain is on rodeo right now and I just can't afford multiple horses right now. Tiny stands good for the farrier, vet, he self loads and unloads, he loves a stall and the trailer, he ties, lunges, he is not an alpha or a bully, he lives with a mixed herd and barefoot. I also have a current vetting on him. I just want Tiny to find a good life as a good fun horse to ride around to ride around and trust. I have put a lot of different people on Tiny including beginners (I have not put a small child on him yet) He could even be a guest horse, mom horse, husband horse. I also think Tiny could be outstanding as an English horse or show horse! He will make someone an amazing horse he has such a good brain and is so so willing to learn and trust. Don’t miss out on this sweet boy! I priced him low at 12k, because that is what I need for the rodeo horse I have my eye on. text or call (970)846-4990
