Fit and forward, no papers but that won’t bother you if you love an enthusiastic trail horse. I am currently riding him BUT I am over 70 years old, and he is just too much horse for me. He can be jiggy at the beginning of a ride and if he gets too excited he kicks up his heels. Not too scary but I am just too old for that. I have had some great rides at a brisk trot on winding trails though. Natural trail horse sure footed and balanced, keeps you clear of trees and other trail hazards, crosses water and steps over logs, not spooky. Takes the 1,100 foot elevation gain in 3.2 miles on our trails (Chuckanut Mountain) at a trot with ease and keeps going. loves to be groomed and loved on, looks to you for reassurance when nervous, moves off leg, backs well, good feet but currently shod because of rocky trails here. Good with other horses, great manners in hand, will join up in the round pen and stand for sacking or saddling without being tied or held. A man had a good ride on him and bought him from me. He is a good rider but says the horse will not settle down for him and they are just not working well together so will not keep him. I did not have that problem. One theory is that he is just afraid of men. I need to get him sold feel free to call and ask questions.
