Abby is an outstanding 2023 purebred Akhal-Teke filly, by eventing stallion Kiergen out of star dam Arima. Abby’s sire Kiergen is a popular stud and grandson of Senetir, the first Akhal-Teke stallion ever imported to the United States and sire of many amazing competitors, Kiergen is intelligent and light on his feet, with Absent@4 on his dam side, and he’s accomplished under saddle, with eventing show experience and endurance training. Foals include Adlumia Amerikaly, Ak Niloufar, Kesgir Surat, and Swan Ysk Doretmek (Dory). He is owned & managed by the non-profit Akhal-Teke Foundation. Abby’s dam, Arima, was born in Texas to the impressive Russian-born sire Arim, and the German-born endurance-tested dam, Annuschka. Also an Absent direct descendant, Arima's previous foals are the lovely Swan Yurekli Sazda (Sayda) by Gidasp, and outstanding golden buckskin filly Swan Altyn Alma (Anna) by Anikit. Abby is a fifth generation direct descendant, through the noted stallion Mazan, of the great Olympic champion Absent, with Absent on both sides of her pedigree. Abby’s color is likely cremello or perlino, pending genetic color testing. She’ll be VNIIK, ATAA, and USEF registered this year. NFS clear by clear parents.
