2015 APHA Bay Tobiano Gelding “Bam Bully”, aka Bam, is being offered for your consideration. He is by RB Bully Inasmalltown (RC Indian Bullion by Bully Bullion x Hempens Easy Cruiser by Easy Jet Too) and out of an APHA Reserve World Champion/PtHA Multiple World and Reserve World Champion mare. He has not been measured recently, but stands at approximately 15hh. Best for an intermediate rider, but has been used with beginners in a round pen and on trails. Bam is as versatile, sweet and handsome as they come. He trail rides, ponies other horses, rides bareback and bridleless, runs barrels and flags, and has even done cattle sorting. Additionally, he’s been shown in western pleasure, horsemanship and trail classes. Started on the driving cart, but not finished. He’s had a nice slow start, been brought along correctly and is extremely broke! In the barrel pen, he’s been running about a second off the winning time (3D) consistently, with room for improvement. He already has two Summer Series Open 3D Championship belt buckles to show for it. However, I feel he would excel at ranch riding, trail riding, cattle work and other non-gymkhana (speed) events. He is for sale at no fault of his own, I have a younger one that I need to get more training time on, so I will be focusing on her. I am also in the process of moving to Oklahoma. In the meantime, I do not want this nice guy to sit on the back-burner. Full transparency, he did have some gate/pattern trouble on a few runs, but using FlairStrips and a visit to the veterinarian has resolved those issues. Although, again, I would still prefer he go to a home that does not intend to do speed events on him. Feel free to call or text for more information, (815) 520-8654. Serious inquires only and no trades, please. Current on everything (vaccines, teeth, etc.). Will just need a dose of Quest Plus (de-wormer) in the Fall according to fecal sample this Spring. Vet check welcome at buyer’s expense. Asking $10,000, reasonable offers considered. Please note: Registration papers need to be updated to reflect his gelded status, this can be done when you transfer him into your name. He was gelded 4/20/2016.
