"Benny" came into our lives two years ago with a singular goal: help a woman in her mid-70s regain her confidence in the saddle. He's been the perfect companion and has carried me hundreds of miles safely over all kinds of terrain--including completing the Tevis Cup Virtual 100-Mile ride! Thanks to Benny, I have again begun riding my Arabs and gaited horses. At this stage of my life, I prefer a smaller mount for comfort, and I'm going back to gaited. Benny is a sweet, smooth boy and he comes with a "tuneup" from a wonderful ranch where he's been ridden six days a week for the last month. He'll make a great trail companion for some lucky person.
