Wolf is a 14 year old Grullo Mustang gelding.
He measures 15.2h is an easy keeper, up to date on wormer, and is barefoot on all four (strong mustang feet!)
He’s mostly done arena work, trails, and hunting trips.
He is a great arena horse! I’ve had beginners on him and even taught kids how to lope for their first time with him. He carries himself fancy with his collection and buttons.
I’ve taken him out on the trail in groups and alone. He does require a more advanced beginner on the trail at minimum.
He is not a “hold the horn and poke down the trail” type of horse. He requires someone who can give him confident direction on trail as he has a lot of personality/curiosity and will try to find loop holes to go eat grass or be distracted.
He’s not a super spooky reactive horse and usually takes to new things well with proper guidance. He ties, trailers, bathes, clips, is very smart and always kind of up to something silly like trying to untie his lead rope ect. 🤣
We have had him around side by sides, motorcycles, and he has been around cattle, deer, wild pigs and shot around on the hunt trips.
We also currently live on a piece of land that has a lot of ag harvesting equipment. (Tractors, big rigs, trailers, field cutters, ect. That are active pretty much daily)
He lives in a herd setting and is head honcho with other horses. I’ve noticed he is happiest in a corral by himself with human attention.🥰
He has grown on me so much, I don’t want to put him in another home.🥺
Currently, my husband and I have a baby on the way, a move in the process and we need to straighten out our finances. So we have him available.
