This striking black Gaited Kentucky Mountain stud colt will be looking for a new pasture now that he has been weaned. He is out of an appendix registered Kentucky Mountain Horse mare who is 1/2 Tennessee Walking Horse and by a registered Rocky Mountain Horse Stallion. He is registered with the Kentucky Mountain Horse Registry and could be double registered into the Partial Walking Horse Registry as well. He is likely to mature to 15.2hh and for a foal seems to have straight legs, a big hip with a nice shoulder, short coupled, and should bulk out very nicely. His dam is my personal riding mare. She has climbed the highest peaks and can go all day in the mountains. She's carried me everywhere and has the smoothest gait and lope of all my personal horses as she breaks to a trot vs pacing. This little guy whom I've been calling Jettstar is spunky, curious, and has a sweet personality just like his dam. He is already free gaiting in the pasture and figuring out his legs. He's currently going through a big foal shed and losing all the sunbleached foal camo, you can see the black coming through. Before he leaves, he'll know how to halter, lead, load, and pick up his feet as we're very proactive in early farrier exposure. Call or text with any questions. Looking to move this guy to make room for next year's foal crop. https://classifieds.ksl.com/listing/72251279 for pictures.
