Available for lease in Auora TX. 10yr old Westphalian (Donnafurst mare x Vitalis) gelding. Vital Statistic “Iliad” is 16.1 hands and a very kind and layed back boy. Ridden and trained by myself from 3yrs old. Solid 1st level and schools all lateral work through 2nd level/ playing around with half passes. He requires a balanced rider with fairly independent aids. Iliad is perfectly safe (have taught lunge lessons with 10 year olds riding him) and has lovely balanced rhyming gaits. He is absolutely willing to work, but his willingness diminishes with too much nagging and half assed aids. Must also be in a lesson program with current trainer (LP Dressage)

Ideally looking for someone who would like to show/ clinic, but is not ready to purchase/ would like to lease long term. Iliad does have some career limiting past injuries (no major maintenance required) and would be best staying at/ below 3rd level to preserve his long term soundness goals (would love for my daughter to be able to ride him 5-6 years from now).

Same horse at shows as he is at home- gets off the trailer like he has been there 1000 times before. Not spooky, super predictable, and a SUPER honest horse. He will make you ride honest and independent in your aids, but will also be super forgiving to mistakes as you learn his feel.
