"Quinn" is seeking his final life partner who appreciates extreme mountain trail riding as much as he does. Outstanding trail horse with the perfect amount of go, forward but not hot. He is an experienced trail horse and "finished" in natural environments. He could also excel in competitive Trail events with the right partner. He will excel with an intermediate or advanced rider who appreciates a forward mover without the drama. Quinn is reliable and safe, careful in tough country, and has enough grit to go for days. Steep hills, blowdowns, standing and live water, forest or open country, Quinn will get you through safely and with a bit of flair. He is solid and reliable in groups or riding out alone. Traffic safe. Loads, unloads and hauls perfectly. Great with his feet, and has been with a barefoot trimmer for the past 3 years with exceptional results (had been shod with his previous owner). A complete gentleman for veterinary care, and is UTD with exception of dentistry. He has received regular bodywork with a Balance Through Movement licensed practitioner for 15 months and has been fully rehabilitated from a pinched Brachial Plexus Nerve. He will benefit from continued bodywork as all sound horses do, but no longer requires rehab! He is sound and solid, PPE welcome at buyers expense.
Quinn has been with me for 3 years and during that time has had a professional tune-up on his ground manners, groundwork and under saddle maneuvers. He was ridden in a Buck Brannaman clinic in 2021, which was more than likely his first experience with a larger public event. He has limited arena experience, but has potential with an experienced rider to make his mark in the show pen as well. Today, his ground manner and groundwork skills are wonderful, he is extremely soft mouthed, and he is moving correctly and with a greater level of skill.
