Tonto is a 10 year old around 14.2hh grade Spanish Mustang. A beautiful palomino with four white socks and a white blaze. Tonto was bought for my mother who had plan of getting back into trail riding but her body had other plans. He’s been ridden a couple times per year since getting him. He stands tied and for the farrier. We have taken him on long trail rides and friends who don’t ride have ridden him. He has been sitting for a while and needs a little work before jumping back into the saddle. Tonto loves the trails. He rides out in groups and will ride out alone. He rides through untrimmed trails and crosses creeks. I have worked some cattle off him and really seems to enjoy it. He has really great smooth gaits that make it easy to ride all day long. He wants to please. He’s had a little bit of everyone ride him but does best with a confident, calm rider. He is blind in his left eye but it doesn’t seem to bother him. You can’t tell he’s blind in one eye when you’re on him. He needs someone to trust and spend time with him. Tonto is located in Independence, WI.
