Beautiful Dun Mare. No white, tiger stripes on legs, hard black feet. Petite. 14.3HH, 850#. Perfect size for a light rider (ideally under 135#). Ridden western. Very athletic & responsive to leg pressure. Started on voice cues. Soft mouth. Forward moving when asked, but very easily controlled. Smooth gaits. Stands for mounting. Floating trot. Loves to lope & gallop. Never offered a buck, crow hop, or rear under saddle. Was rode by two intermediate horsemanship students (12 & 13 year old girls) this summer. Young horse would do best with a confident and experienced rider. Bold on the trails too. Leads, ties, trailers. Okay for the farrier & vet. 7 way & float in July. Regular 6 wk. trims, never shod. Purchased mid-May. Grade, no history. Well started at purchase & continued miles by me, but too small to be a personal trail mount for me which was my intent in purchasing her. Can be timid with new people. Takes treats gently. Pasture boards or stalls overnight. Middle of the herd. Home treaty, but no indoor. Due to the great weather thru December was trail riding weekly 12-15 mile rides. This mare has stamina. Price will increase with training.
