15hh 10 YO QH gelding

Very comfortable horse! Rides English and western

Cowboy is a stunning dark buckskin gelding. Cowboy is the perfect height for kids yet just tall enough to take up leg for adults! Cowboy is as GENTLE as they come, and can do just about anything you want!! Cowboy stands for tacking, grooming, and bathing like a gentleman. He has absolutely no bad habits, trailers like a dream, and will cross tie and stand like a statue. He gets off the trailer in any strange place like he’s lived there his whole life.

Under saddle, Cowboy stands for mounting like a statue as well. He has a great WTC in the arena, and will go around on a loose rein. He rides in a simple D ring snaffle, has a fantastic stop, and knows the meaning of “whoa” extremely well. Cowboy will take a small jump, and has jumped up to 2’ singles and lines. He grabs both leads, and is the perfect balance of whoa and go. He has NO BAD HABITS under saddle, no spook, buck, rear or bolt. He is one you can trust putting a small child or your grandmother on and he’ll take care of them!!

Cowboy rides just as well out of the arena!! He will ride through open fields, around cows, and has the same steady pace that he does in the arena. He has no spook, and is brave in new places and doesn’t mind any question you throw at him. Cowboy has had beginners and advanced riders on him, and he is just as gentle with both.

We believe Cowboy would fit into a lesson program very well! He is safe, steady, and sound and would be great for teaching beginners and riders learning to jump cross rails. He has a very easy jump to stay with, and doesn’t jump you out of the tack. He follows you around everywhere you go
