“Morgan” I have used her to do endurance riding this past year. She loves the trail! Morgan is easy to catch, groom, pick feet, saddle and bridle. Stands to mount. Can be iffy loading into the trailer but 9 times out of ten, she walks right on. Stands tied. Stands great for the farrier. She’s middle of the herd order at the barn but is boss mare when she comes home to my older horses. The experienced teenager can ride her but the little kids can’t handle her. She’s very forward and needs quiet relaxed hands and lower body cues. She is good in camp but can get a little anxious like any other horse when it gets busy. She stands for the vet at the endurance rides fine. She eats and drinks on trail. I have ridden her out alone with no issues. If she’s in a group, she likes to be in the front but can be kept in line anywhere. She’s so fun! But, I am not a horse trainer. She needs a job and to be finished in SOMETHING. Dressage would also be so good for her. She doesn’t hate the fine tuning of simpler things in the arena. I don’t need to sell and the best, knowledgeable home is a must. I just want to set her up to reach her full potential and as much as I can get on and hang on and get along, I know she can be refined and extremely successful at something.
