Whiskey is a 5yr old BLM Mustang from Wyoming.
He is a super sweet boy, but is more of a project than his owners have time for so we are doing what's best for him because he is a horse that needs a job. He does better if he is being worked consistently. He can have a little of the mustang tendencies and by that I mean he needs to gain your trust, but with him it doesn't take long. Some days he will be a little shy, but not to the point he can't ever be caught, he just wants to get to know you.
He is finished up 30 days right and he is riding along nicely, however he can be testy at the lope. He just does small crowhops which can be intimidating to newer riders.
With a confident rider he will do wonderful, but he needs to have consistency. He was originally started through a prison program, but up until recently he is just now getting the rides in. The 30 days were to figure him out and seeing what he was all about.

I do have videos upon request. He is one of those Mustangs that will turn heads over and over again. He is very well built, has a super kind eye, and wants to be the best boy. Make him your next ranch horse. He would excel at a daily job! He is a good 15.2 hands of thickness! He has amazing groundwork manners. He is great for the farrier and is up to date on everything!
