"Luey"had his first foal crop in 2024, we were beyond impressed, they were beautiful, easy to halter break, easy to be around, big thick builds and very athletic. Three were used in 4H for 2025 winning Grand in colt to maturity and several blue ribbons in different classes.
We really love his breeding, the greats speak for themselves and he is well packaged. He stands 15.1 with good thick bone. He has had 90 days professional training and was shown in a few local ranch and trail shows earning some money in each. He has good manners undersaddle around other horses. We hope to get him back in to show shape and compete again as time allows in 2026. He had 2025 off due to owners own pregnancy.
Luey is a buttermilk buckskin dun or better known as a Dunskin, which means he carries a cream gene and dun gene. His "dun factor" is quite significant with barring on the legs, defined back stripe dripping off his neck and spots along his top line.
