I’ve had Malibu for about 2 years. He’s a grulla mustang turning 5 at the end of the year.
He stands around 15hh
I started and trained him myself. He’s an all around horse- has gone on trails, been in parades, given lessons, started over fences, is good at barrels/playday events, I’ve taken him into the mountains into the snow as well. He’s been near cars, semis, dump trucks, dirt bikes, etc. I’ve taken him to snow cone shacks, drives thrus, and through Dutch bros as well. He can load onto Any trailer of any size. he’s good for the farrier, good in the roundpen, will lunge on a line nicely, you can ride him bareback in a tack rein, has been started on the flag, and started in the box too. I’ve thrown a rope off him and he’s done the roping dummy as well. I’ve carried flags with him too.
Malibu has a nice stop, turns, gives a nice collection, and even has some cowy traits.
Malibu has one of the biggest personalities that I’ve seen in a horse. He will do any and everything you ask. please PM me if interested, price is negotiable:)
