Elissa R, known around the barn as Stella is an 8 year old, 16.2 hand mare by Diablo D’Esquelmes out of a Contendro I mare. She began her dressage career at the end of February 2023 and since then has been High Score and Reserve High Score at training level. She is consistently scoring in the high 60’s at training level test 3 (with scores through 74%) and at first level has not been out of the high 60s (with scores through 69%). She qualified for regionals at training level and scored a 67.9% at championships.
Stella is no muss no fuss to prep at the shows and has gladly shown in arenas that she did not get to school in beforehand. She is an easy keeper, no maintenance, no special shoeing, no stall vices, and has excellent trailer loading skills.
She is excellent to hack around the farm both alone and with company. She is a leg ride but not a deadhead. She would not be suitable for a complete beginner but is suitable for most amateurs. She is easily maintained on 4 days a week of riding but is happy to work 6.
She was purchased by her current owner when she was 5 and has a vetting from that time. PPEs are of course welcome.
Above all else, it is important to us that Stella go to someone who will enjoy her sweet personality.
