"Indy" is an 18yrs young gelding who has had a successful career as a hunter over fences and a training/first level dressage horse. Sale is a difficult decision due to his owner not having enough time to get him out, and this horse LOVES work and attention. This is the horse who will put his head right into the halter and nicker at you every time he see you. Indy is retired from jumping due to sidebone in his front feet. He is comfortable in front shoes, and is currently schooling training/first level dressage 4x a week and would be a wonderful horse for someone wanting to gain a feel for correct transitions. Currently goes in a hackamore and gives a lovely responsive feel in the bridle and through the back. could be an excellent addition to a lesson program that has advanced students. Indy does have the beginnings of cushings and gets 1/2 tab Prascend per day. No other current maintenance other than front shoes. Not recommended for a beginner as this guy has some sensitivity and is not a fan of wobbly legs and pulling hands. Very occasionally will throw a hard spook, but is generally a really solid guy. Indy is registered APHA, but selling as grade as those papers have never been updated. Text 802 230 6420 for pictures and video.
