Wyatt is an interesting 12-year-old 15.2 hand Tennessee Walker gelding that came my way from friends who used him in field trials. Wyatt was a good steady horse that they could run their dogs with in large groups and was able to leave the group. He has been around quads, cars, gunfire, but he just wasn’t fast enough for the way they played the game. When I got Wyatt, his first job was to take a beginner on a guided ride through the Redwoods and also on the beach. He was truly remarkable. He took care of that man like he was family. He rode behind me, and this gentleman‘s wife, who wanted to go faster and Wyatt just sauntered along the trail without a care in the world. He picked his way through all the most difficult situations that you come across through Henry Cowell State Park. Wyatt will be a great horse and a confidence booster for someone that wants a horse for camping and ride everywhere they possibly can or possibly couldn’t before. This horse has to go to somebody with character and will become famous as Wyatts owner.
