PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST! Bunny is a 6.5 yr old off the track thoroughbred. FORMER BUNNY - "Bunny" is about as cute and sweet as they come! She is looking for a low-level lifestyle and with maintenance would be perfect for someone who can continue her training whether it be as a trail partner, pleasure, equitation or any type of flat work, English or Western. Bunny responds best with a gentle handler. She is respectful and sweet on the lead, and cross-ties. Bunny stands great for the vet, farrier and chiropractor. She’s such a sweet girl, always the first one at the gate to meet you. Bunny takes the bit and saddle with no issues. Miss Bunny is currently shod in the front and that seems to work best for her. Bunny prefers to be outside, though she isn’t a fan of bad weather so she does get stalled for storms and overnight in the winter with no issues. Bunny is as sweet as they come! She aims to please her person, and will do about anything for a cookie. Bunny's cribbing is controlled with a crib collar. Bunny was training well at the walk, trot, canter and learning trails which she loves! She has a good stop, and backs up. Bunny would be best suited to an advanced intermediate rider, no kick, bite, buck or rear. Recently we found out Bunny has a cyst in her front left navicular bone. Vet recommends injections which was done 10/30/23 and vet recommends that be done every couple of months depending on how much she is ridden. Bunny would benefit from daily anti inflammatory for her SI joint or injections before getting into a work routine. With proper routine maintenance, vet recommends her to a lower-level riding home. Trail riding, straight arena work, pleasure, equitation or any type of flat work. She’s been riding in western, but would look lovely in English. Bunny is looking for someone to keep her maintained and continue her training. Medical records are available for serious inquiries.
