Superman is a 5 year old Tennessee Walking Horse gelding standing at 16’2hh. This big stout made horse, is buckskin in color, has a beautiful natural 4-beat gait and is a pleasure to ride and enjoy all day. Superman has been trail ridden in the rough of Oregon and Arizona, as well as Kentucky and Tennessee.
He is sure-footed, easy going and takes care of his rider. Superman will cross creeks, logs, and go up or down the steep embankments. He trailers great with other horses, stands tied, loads and unloads perfectly and ties out on a picket line as well. Superman is just the right age to last a lifetime but has the mind-set of an older horse and is super easy to get along with. No special shoeing or bit is required to have him gait consistently. You don’t need to know anything about gaited horses to get a smooth ride from Superman. In fact, you can put the reins down on his neck, and he will maintain a smooth gait without guiding – see videos! He is safe to ride out alone on the trail and does great with large groups. Superman stands quiet for the farrier and will willingly pick up all four feet. We encourage you to come take Superman for a ride and see just how nice he really is.
