Been there done that ranch gelding. Here’s your “nothing beats a good sorrel” horse. Been there done that ranch horse. There’s not much this horse won’t do. Heads and heals really well. This horse has been to town a lot and competed in a lot of different ranch rodeos in all different kinds of events. He’s been my husbands go to ranch horse for the last 4 years and I have no doubt he’ll be your next go to horse. He’s good minded and a great all around horse for any job you need him to do. This horse won’t ever get you in a wreck or put you in a bad spot. Don’t let his age fool you this horse has a ton of life in him still regularly covering 30 mile days on the ranch with no issues. This horse is built to last. Whatever job you need him to do whether it’s competing in town team roping, ranch rodeo, horse ropin, or out working on the ranch starting colts, branding, gathering, doctoring, he’ll always be the best pick for you to get the job done. Experienced rider is best he’s had beginners on him under supervision on trail rides but wouldn’t say he’s a beginners horse by any means as he can have a loot of forward movement for someone who isn’t confident. I can see him being a great step up Jr rodeo horse for a teenager who’s ready to have a horse with some more go to them. Cons: he is cinchy. You can’t just tighten up and go he will hog around and possibly flip over. Just be kind to him cinching up and you’ll never have an issue. He can be hard to catch.
