Meet Titan, a 3-year-old Draft Cross standing tall at 18 Hands. Titan's is 50% Clydesdale, 25% Percheron, and 25% Paint, making him eligible for registration as a North American Spotted Draft.
Titan started training in early Spring of 2023. Within 30 days under saddle, won his class division at a local schooling show. He’s been ridden English and Western, with recent focus on classical dressage. Additionally, Titan has undergone work with cavelettis, small jumps and various obstacles.
Titan has comfortable and relaxed movements at the walk, trot, and canter. He can comfortable ride forward on a loose rein and is now learning to swing underneath from behind and into the bit.
Titan can be stalled and does well with and without a run; though due to his 18 hand stature does need room for him to lay down as he does moonlight as a professional napper. Titan is also fine in a pasture situation and gets along decently well with other horses but does need to be pastured with ones close to his size as we will try and pick on them and can be quite playful.
Titan has the following skill set
- Loads easily and trailers quietly
- Stands tied and cross tied, learning ground tying
- good with the farrier
- quiet for tacking
- Good for bathing, (but does run out of patience while drying xD )
- Rides alone or with a group and is polite with the other horses
- Solid with Obstacles such as bridges, (teeter bridge, solid, more), poles, logs… etc
- Good with opening gates, (though you might need to learn to do so with your foot being 5miles above the gate on his back)
- Tolerant of Puddles and Shallow Water (not tested with deeper or flowing water)
- Ponies well but like to play with the other horses.
- Stands Steadily for Mounting from the ground or a mounting block.

Titan would be a great partner for an Adult Amateur with a training looking to literally and figuratively rise above the competition in the show ring.
Shows promise to eventually become a kid’s* horse.
