John, is a firm sticked 17.3h. He is very kind and sweet. Has been off the track for over a year. I bought him straight off the track. He spent mosy of his time in the field doing nothing. Then since he started into work it has just been as my schedule has allowed. He is still green but very willing. John has been started slowly with a dressage bases and starting to put small courses together. He will jump anything you point him at. He is very brave and willing. Has been off property a few times for a dressage show and lessons. He handles it all well. Would make up to be a great fox hunter I believe. He can go for days. Pros: -He is GORGEOUS! -He is HUGE (if you like big horses) -Most beautiful BALANCED CANTER -He loves attention and is the total class clown Gets along with ANYONE in the field and loves to live out. -Will jump anything not spooky at all when being ridden. -Happy to go new places. -Does not have any prior injuries. Clean legs -Wasn’t started till he was 5yrs old so plenty of time for his growth. (Hence why he is still green) -Very lightly raced -He can be lead and handled by kids (when outside the barn) - He will almost ground tie to be tacked or will happily stand tied to the trailer. -You can let him stand and get right back on. He’s not bothered by whether he’s the same ride. Cons: -He does not love to be in a barn and can be nervous in crossties (he was better when he was in a routine but now he lives out because of my situation) -He can anticipate when being ridden and can get forward. No naughty behavior though, just forward. He needs someone with everyday time (which is what I lack and his reason for being up for sale) -He loads on a trailer perfect and will stand but is nervous the whole time. (He will need someone with an appropriate size trailer, which is what we have him in. I will not sell him to someone who wants to put him in a tiny trailer he is 17.3) Not for beginners and seriously inquiries only, please do not waste my time.
