Rango is a 6 year old 15.1 HH AQHA gelding, he’s been my go to horse for any job or just a fun ride. He’s drug calves to the fire, gathered and trailed cattle, trail ridden, team penning, he’s roped the dummy a bunch and been on the flag a few times, worked colts in the round pen, ponied colts, I also hauled him to a few shows this year and showed him in the ranch events. He’s got a big motor and loves to work, which is why he’s been my absolute favorite to go do ranch work on or any kind of cow work, he pulls hard from the horn and is very cowy. He’s got a great stop, turns around nice, and works great off your seat and legs. Loads and unloads with ease, stands great for the farrier, and stands tied. Always been sound and healthy!
If you’re looking for your next go to horse you’re not going to want to miss out on this one! I would recommend him for an intermediate rider at least because he does have a motor but he isn’t crazy or dangerous at all, if you’re a confident rider and know how to ride you will definitely love him!
