Twizzler is a really well broke, grade quarter horse mare who is about 14.3hh. She is about 24 years old according the previous seller, but she’s still got a lot of life yet and loves a job. She’s an ex team roping horse, she’s super cowy, and was used for sorting cattle at an auction. Since we have had her, she has been used for trail rides, a few beginner pony rides, ponying other horses, and arena riding. She has been lightly patterned on the barrels and started on jumping this last spring. She has lots of go and has gone on camping trips and day long rides. She has a good whoa and has a good turn around. Her neck rein is amazing, she moves off of feet really well, and can be ridden in a bridle, a snaffle, a halter, or even just a neck rope. She does w/j/l. She is an easy keeper who only gets grain for extra protein, she’s good for the farrier and is currently barefoot, and she trailers well. She can be ponied and she’s awesome at ponying other horses. That being said, she does have a few cons. She sometimes will be pissy about the saddle being put on her back but it’s not horrible and she isn’t cinchy. When it’s really cold out and she doesn’t get an adequate warm up, she does hop when asked to canter and can get stiff for the same reason. Despite those few issues, she is an awesome horse who, despite her age, has amazing potential. She would be a great horse for an experienced rider wanting to get into roping or barrels. She also would be great as a trail and hunting horse or as a ranch/using horse. Open to any offers, trades, partial trades, etc. Contact for more information and videos, text is preferred.
