Been there done that trail mare with some size... Ideal husband horse! Saffron has been the "community" horse for the past few years. We can throw anyone on her and take to the trails gaiting without a worry in the world. Young, old, and all levels of experience have been on her back. Saffron does anything you ask of her. Cross water, logs, down trees, make your own trails, takes the lead, stays in the back, ride in the middle, walk slow, walk fast, gait, canter, takes time up and down hills for proper footing, ride with dogs, have the dog up in the saddle with you, arena riding with many spectators, drill style patterns, ride alone, with a small group, with a large group, and so on. Saffron has been on several camping trips. Day trips, long weekends, and week long trips. Highline, pen, and stalling are a breeze with her. Due to her size, she has primarily been the first horse into the trailer, but she will hop into any place on the trailer. Don't let this beauties age scare you away. She has plenty of years left in her and is in wonderful health. Saffron is safe and dependable on and off the trails. She is an amazing confidence booster, or everyday trail partner for someone who wants an easy, uneventful ride. Saffron can sit for months untouched and still give you the same ride she would if she had been ridden every day. Saffron currently has a foal by her side that will be weaned mid March. Once her foal is weaned she will get a quick post-foal refresher both on the ground and in the saddle and be ready to go early April.
