Cookie is a 5 yr old grade, bay leopard appaloosa mare that stands 14.2h. I bought Cookie as a 2 yr old and trained her myself. She has never offered to buck, rear, run, or do anything worse than a spook here or there. Well started under saddle, she has a soft mouth, responds well to just leg cues and some neck rein, and knows her canter leads. She can back, side pass, pivot, open gates, cross water and do various trail obstacles. Although Cookie is very gentle, she is sensitive to cues so I would recommend her for someone that at least knows how to ride. I still consider her a little green, just for the fact that she still jumps at new scary things and needs some more miles and exposure. Would make a great trail horse or a fun house to ride around the ranch. I have herded our two pet heifers around with her and Cookie had no fear of them. Very smart and likes having a job. She does like attention, getting brushed, and will come from the pasture when called. No vices and no problems picking up her feet. Only reason she is for sale is I simply don't have time for all of the horses we have and Cookie deserves to be someone's primary horse where she can get regular love and attention.
