Serious inquiries only. Project horse. The good: Joey is one of the sweetest horses I have owned in 20 years. My friends describe him as a “German Shepard”. If you treat him fairly, he will work his heart out. Joey is extremely athletic and an elegant mover (videos available). I have owned Joey for 3 years and spent most of it focusing on ground/body work and transitioning him from barrel racing to english. Joey enjoys jumping and is willing - even with a complete amateur jumper like me. Joey loves playing at liberty and knows some voice commands (no tricks). Load, hauls, ties, stands for the farrier. The "bad": Joey will need time to gain muscle due to being off for the last year due to family move. Joey has had many owners in his short life – some good, many not so much. Joey has bit scars on his tongue and works best in a side-pull. Joey can get very anxious when he feels uncomfortable. Anyone willing to earn his trust will have an incredible partner! Finding the right fit for Joey is the most important - price is negotiable to the right home.
