Gorgeous silver bay Rocky Mountain gelding. Ty’s (Windkist Double Tim) foal date is May 2, 2011 and is 15.1; old time Rocky pedigree with Tobe as great-grandsire of both sire & dam. Backs, side-passes, lines himself to a mounting block or truck tailgate, etc. with a simple raised hand cue. Works off the leg nicely and neck reins. Very soft mouth, doesn’t need more than light hands, usually no bit pressure. My 5 & 6 yr-old grandkids ride him solo with supervision. Deer, vehicles, tractors, dogs, large ground birds (wild turkeys, geese) don’t phase him. He rides out alone without hesitation and has never been barn sour. He’s good for farrier, vet & dental work. Loads well and gets along with other horses, sometimes assumes alpha role. Ty's never had any health issues, hoof problems or lameness. He's always been kept barefoot.
