Mac is a grade gelding standing 16hh+ and STOUT. He is older than 10 but younger than 15 (per vet on 2/26/24)

Short version of a verrrry long story:
He came to me from a feedlot, 1 year later I sold him to somebody who I believed would be a good match, 2 years later he’s back with me and was overdue for wormer, vaccines and floating (floating and vaccines done 2/26).

-Hard to catch (working on it)
-Needs CONSISTENCY!
-Loads great
-lunges great
-No idea how he is to ride
-Good for farrier
-super solid feet (barefoot)
-not sure yet how he bathes
-Doesn't tie well, so I loop the rope and he does fine.
-He is *slightly* off on his back right and front left, he’s never taken any lame steps on his hind end, but you’ll see a very slight head bob on the front. Video shows him running and bucking. I think with some joint supplements he would be in good shape. I listed his temperament at a 9 for the sole reason that he’s extremely sensitive right now and spooky around people. In the field he’s easily a 3. He needs to be desensitized around people and then his number would come way down.

There is a lot to this guy and I’m happy to discuss more and answer questions. All I want for him is what I put into him. He just got his teeth floated and vaccines administered on 2/26 which I spent $530 on. After his feet are trimmed and he’s wormed I’d like $600 for him. I’m not looking to make a profit-just get back what I’ve put into him.

I will NOT sell him to somebody who isn’t the right fit, or you can’t be consistent with him. This means handling him (petting and putting a halter on is all he needs) every day. If you don’t he will regress. The last pic of him is when I brought him home on 2/17, he’s in a 10x10 and it took me 45 minutes to catch him. He was left alone for 2 years and became wild again. As of today (2/28) I’m able to put a halter on him within 1 minute if he’s in his stall. He still wants to walk away of he’s in the field, but he will stop after a few steps and then I’m able to get next to him. Experienced horse-person a must.
