2016-2017 - Race track with 9 starts 2019 - Shipped to Oregon 2021- Vet noted Fibrotic myopathy in the right hind hamstring with grade 2/5 lameness 2021-2023 - Played polo in Central Oregon April 2023 - Sold do my client as a 'trail horse' Oct 2023 - Current in rehabilitation/training at RnR Performance Horses Where Faith would THRIVE: *Single horse home with very attentive/hands on human *Mental and Physical work 5-6 days/week *Confident yet patient handler/rider *Free feed hay in slow feeder *IF other horses are with her she does best with mares and own feeding area *Shoes on hooves full time *Body work to maintain structure balance and muscle softness and strength. What Faith is NOT: *NOT for Beginners. *NOT for timid handlers or riders *NOT for impatient or not willing to listen to her communicate *NOT for a harsh/mean handler *Over the last 5 months Faith has learned to soften her body, engage her core and back muscles, and give to the bridle for supple riding. Through this her 'lameness' has subsided significantly. She is balanced both at the short and long stride for the walk and trot. We continue to grow in balance and confidence at the lope. *She continues to grow in her own confidence and ability to embrace a change in her riding environment. When riding into new areas she is VERY alert. If her rider is not confident and calm she will react. She will attempt a bolt if she is spooked. *She will walk over poles, trot over poles, walk over a bridge, walk between obstacles, and has recently started working up and down small mounds for confidence in her balance. *She is anxious in the trailer while hauling. *She has been tied to the 'patience post' and stands while grooming and tacking. She has pulled back from the trailer and from the tie rack if she is anxious or high energy. Show home? Potentially if the new owner continues with her bodywork, balance/softening, and understands her limitations on collection. Would suggest a Dressage or English seat with her movement. I am not a 'jumper' but so am not able to speak to her abilities/setbacks in this area. Trail home? Potentially, if the new owner is patient and persistent to set her up for success with confidence building and is patient to understand her. She does best when riding away from her 'normal' with a calm and confident equine buddy. She will however still show you that she is very unsure. Barrel racing home? Preferably not. Due to her hamstring injury we feel this would not be the best environment for her. Cows: We have not worked her on them nor had them around her. Faith is being sold due to owner needing a quieter and safer trail horse that doesn't require the daily mental and physical upkeep that Faith does. If we felt she was going to the right home and the right horse fit with my client we are open to the potential of a trade. WE WILL BE PICKY! She is current on teeth (Nov 2023), vaccines (booster Nov 2023), de-worming (Quest Nov 2023), farrier (will rem
