All around gelding with the beauty, brains and athleticism to turn heads, Dude is ready to be your go-to ride. Backed by an impressive set of papers including Highbrow Cat and Docs Solano, his natural athletic ability is not surprising. His quiet mind and lengthy life experiences coupled with prime age all add up to make one heck of a horse.

Dude has a very relaxed demeanor overall. Will go when asked but is just as happy to hang out and conserve energy. Soft and supple in the bridle, very straightforward horse in the arena. No-nonsense type, very trainable.

His experience outside of the arena is extensive. Has been out branding and doctoring cattle, logged many miles up in high country trails with shale rock, bridge and river crossings. He will high line or tie to a tree or trailer overnight. Great riding alone or in a crowd. Handles prize rides and other large events with hundreds of riders with ease.

Inside the arena, he has quite the resume as well. Rides in a snaffle, bosal, sliding gag. Bridleless experience. Very soft and attentive to cues. Walk, trot, lope. Simple lead changes. Great stop, side pass, etc. Been on a flag a few times and shows a ton of potential. I’ve taken him to quite a few backyard sorting competitions and he’s a lot of fun to play on. He is a quick study and won’t take any time at all to add the finishing touches.

He is up for sale due to no fault of his own. I have two young kids and don’t have the time to keep him in work. He has the athleticism to make someone a bang up competition horse and the demeanor to be a phenomenal kids/husband/anybody can ride horse down the road. You won’t want to miss out on this guy!
