Who doesn’t love a good red? Drinkin N Dreaming “Crown” wasn’t much of a racehorse but my is his sport career looking bright. 🤩 2021 Gelding, standing 16h currently. He was bred and raced locally by some friends and just didn’t have the heart for racing. He’s a bit growthy right now but all of the pieces are there. His brain cannot be matched, he’s sweet as could be and just an all around good boy. He is amateur friendly and a great prospect for teens working with a trainer. We’ve been on Crown twice where he demonstrated walk, trot, canter, lead changes and was started over some small fences. He is a stellar mover with a great hind leg and reach from the shoulder. He didn’t have much idea of how to put himself together day one but quickly figured it out and came out ride two retaining everything. He is starting to soften well through his body and is extremely rideable. He is honest to the fences, has plenty of scope but isn’t going to jump anyone out of the tack. I love that this guy is high enough quality for a professional but SO amateur friendly. If you’re looking for something to bring along as a show horse but safety is important he’s a lovely prospect. Great in the barn, good to groom / tack, good for the farrier, bathing and hauls like a champ. He is RRP eligible for 2024/25. Zero vices. Low guy on the totem pole in the field.
