Hi, I am a big sweet sensitive boy, but my people call me Gator!

I am 15.1 hands tall and weigh approximately 1200 lbs. I am big, strong, and athletic!

I will do best with an experienced, athletic rider. If you know how to use your weight, seat, legs, and have good hands I will ride the very best! Timing, feel, and balance are very important to me. If you are still working on these things, I may not be the horse for you. I have a lot of buttons and you will need to know how to use them. The better the rider you are the more fun I will be for you to ride!

I have been trail riding in the mountains for the past three years as a dude horse. I cross water, and rough terrain with ease. I will lead or follow in the string. I would prefer to not be a dude horse anymore. I would love to have someone use me as their personal horse.

Before my current home, I was training for Western Show, so I do have some bells and whistles. You will need to give me a little time to remember some of the commands and moves since it has been a little while.

I load in the trailer well, have good ground manners, and am a social butterfly with the other horses.

A gentle handler will be best for me as I am a sensitive fellow. Don’t get me wrong, I still need to know that you are my leader, and you are going to keep me safe! However, I will not do well with or be able to trust a rough handler.
