Horses like Gentry are hard to find! This 16 year old gelding has a heart of gold and is a wonderful companion. Sound, healthy, easy keeper with no vices and no maintenance. Up to date on everything, great for farrier and vet. Currently barefoot.
Gentry is trained through 1st level dressage, ready for 2nd level. He has been started over low jumps, but he hasn't had a lot of jumping training. He is willing and honest, and with further training would make a nice hunter equitation horse, jumper, or eventer. He is also great on trails, solo or in a group. He has even been trained to pull a skier, so you can skijor off him in the winter months! He is safe and handy. Appropriate for an intermediate+ rider, or a somewhat experienced beginner riding with a trainer every ride. He has a beginner friendly personality, but too many buttons for complete beginner.
Due to no fault of his own, Gentry has been out of work and training for the past 18 months and enjoying a pasture puff lifestyle. His current asking price reflects this, and price will go up this spring when he is boarded and brought back into work.
