Tess is a 5 year old, 15.1h mustang mare from the Green mountain herd. She's the ultimate in friendly, sweet energy. She's been ridden extensively in the arena and handles well. She's most appropriate for a more experienced rider since she's still young and hasn't quite "been there done that" yet. Not totally "green" but definitely needs some finishing to be reliable on the trails and under canter. Tess has the natural athleticism to excel at reigning, barrel racing, or dressage.
She's healthy and up-to-date on vaccines/teeth/wormer/hooves. And you won't find more perfect hooves than these!

Tess is from the BLM originally and fully titled so ownership is clear. She gets along with other horses and comfortable around dogs/goats/sheep. She's respectful of fences and no chewing/cribbing. Good with farrier and vet. Good ground manners and can be hard tied without fuss. Lunges really well and knows all voice commands. Trailers well and super easy to catch. She loves a good cheek scratch and might just get up in your face with some horse kisses!
