This is an amazing mare, I myself have ridden her as u can tell in the video. She is the sweetest girl! She is so easy to ride, smooth soft and quiet. Tilley is drop dead gorgeous with that WOW factor. She has a presence about her that draws attention wherever you take her. She is so kind and sweet with a heart of gold. She really wants to be your buddy and do whatever you want her to. She is never pissy or marish acting even when she’s in season.
Tilley has been raised in a great reining program and has had a lot of training. That being said and her being the trainers horse she gets pushed behind client horses. So you can’t call her finished to go to the show pen but it will not take much for someone to have her ready. She is incredibly talented and so dead quiet. Her maneuvers are great and she’s extremely broke in the face and low headed, has tons of body control, her turnarounds are awesome, her circles are good and she has a huge stop. If someone wanted a SHOT horse they could go show her tomorrow. She would also make a great ranch rider.
We’ve been tracking steers on her. She’s had a few steer stopped on her. She’s drug a few calves. She’s cowy and would go on and make an awesome rope horse as well. In that area the skies the limit on her because you could train her your way to breakaway, tiedown calves or heel on her or all 3. She definitely has all the components it takes to be a top contender.
We’ve used her outside to to gather and pen cows. We’ve used her to sort pairs. We’ve loaded trucks on her. She loves riding outside and goes where you need to.
Tilley has also been trail ridden. She will go through the water without a problem. She’ll ride through the brush. She’ll go over a bridge and over logs. She’ll even play horse ball and push the 4 foot rubber ball around.
The thing about this mare is she’s so curious and inquisitive that even if something scares her she wants to go check it out and not get away from it.
