“Star” is a nice big bodied Saddlebred mare who is looking for a good home. She’s a solid gal who rides English or western. She neck reins like a pro, she also direct reins for English and moves off your leg willingly. Even though she’s older, she’s got the stamina of a 10 year old! She rides well in and out of the arena with no issues. She trail rides with ease and has the experience of a horse that’s been doing it all their lives and she’s had some time to perfect it! She has also been used for lessons in the past for beginners on up.

She does all the things she’s supposed to do, stand for farrier, bathes, tacks up is respectful on the ground. I got Star last year from a bad situation, got her back on her feet and she’s ready to move on and have a person or family of her own. I’m not selling as a beginner horse just because she’s a BIG girl. If you’re comfortable with a beginner on a big one she would most likely be just fine. She’s sound, easy keeper, no maintenance is fine in a stall, paddock or out in the pasture.
