Meet Bandito
A 4 year old 15.1 hand friesian/morgan gelding with the brain of 10 year old horse.
Bandito was trained to drive on an Amish farm where the family used him on all different types of farm equipment from mowing hay, hauling manure, cultivating the garden, and more. They also taught him to ride but in a very informal type of riding training. Since we’ve had him we have been working on more formal riding training. He is learning leg aids, balance, contact, and self carriage. This is one of the smartest and most willing 4 year olds I’ve ever worked with. He literally doesn’t have an off day and you can teach him something new every day and he doesn’t hesitate or resist.
Bandito has excellent ground manners and has absolutely no vices or bad habits. He always greets you at the stall door or paddock gate.
He could easily go up the levels in dressage or could also be a fantastic western dressage horse as he already has a very balanced slow trot and will have collection in no time.
If you’re looking for a horse that can just be happy doing whatever you want whether that is showing or just a happy trail horse you will love this guy.
