Eastwind Light Shine Bright

✨Shine is a 7yo Palomino Rocky Mountain mare standing 14.2hh. Located near Bourbon, IN. Registered, certified and very well bred. She is such a sweet, easy going girl and has the temperament you expect and love in a Rocky. Excellent ground manners, stands perfect for the farrier, loads and hauls like a dream (even after not stepping foot in a trailer for 2 years) and is the same horse in a new environment as she is at home! Middle of the pecking order. Just coming due for spring vaccines and had teeth floated last spring.

I bought her in 2021 to be my forever horse but life/other horses of ours have put her on the back burner and unfortunately I’ve decided I no longer want a gaited horse. She is broke to ride but has been off for a year so will need a refresher. She’s a very level headed, calm, curious type of horse and it wouldn’t take much at all to get her going again under saddle. She’s done wonderfully with any level of rider and has the demeanor to be an excellent kid/beginner horse ultimately.

She requires a dry lot due to a laminitis episode in January of 2023. She is a very easy keeper and needs rationed hay to keep her from putting on too much weight again.
