Sunny is a delightful 15-year-old Missouri Fox trotter & grade Morgan cross. She loves people and is an adventure seeker with a big walk, beautiful trot, and smooth canter. She is not gaited and safe with no spook. Sunny has a large barrel and could take a long leg for her 14.3 height. She is an easy keeper and likes to have a stall, turn-out time, and a lot of attention. She stands at the cross ties, and for the vet and farrier. She trailers well. I bought her last August to ride dressage. In the ring, Sunny will test her rider and needs an experienced horseperson with an excellent feel, a soft touch, and more advanced skills than I have. She is an excellent safe trail horse with a lot of go and is happier exploring the outdoors. Her previous owner bred her from a solid dam who is still going strong and used in therapeutic riding program. Before I owned Sunny, she spent a lot of time on the trails and was ridden Western and English. She has done a little jumping, been ridden in clinics, and understands natural horsemanship techniques and voice command on the longe line. She isn’t mare-ish and has been pastured with geldings and mares.
