They just don’t come much cooler than this cute little ranchin pony. 12 yr old 14’2 hands Lefty is just an all around great gelding. You won’t find one more gentle, tolerant, or sweeter. He gets an A+ in all areas. Lefty is very versatile whether you want to work cows, rope, sorting , arena ride, ranch or trail ride. He’s a one stop shop that can do anything you want to horseback. He’s a gentle old soul that is very mature and wise beyond his years. You want a hell of a horse for your kid, look no further! Lefty has a nice solid foundation with great lead departures, good turn around , a rocking chair lope, and a deep stop. He will change leads, side pass, and has nice gait transitions. Lefty has worked lots of cattle in the arena and on the ranch. He’s handy for gathering herds in big pastures, sorting in the pens, and will box one in the arena. He has a lot of natural cow sense. Lefty has been roped in the pasture and in the arena. Lefty’s best characteristic is his demeanor. He’s absolutely the sweetest, loving, and kindest gelding. He wouldn’t hurt a fly and wants to do no wrong. You cannot upset him, startle him, or scare him in anyway. Lefty is ideal to trail ride and pleasure ride. He has great confidence and is very brave. He’s sure footed, will go right where you point him, and walks nicely on a loose rein. Lefty is 100% gentle and safe for any level of rider, young or old and he will take care of you. If safety is a priority, he will be the one you can trust. If you can hold his reins you will be able to ride him. Lefty is the perfect horse for a kid that is learning the ropes.
