3 yr old gorgeous South Steens mustang filly. We adopted her a year ago and she was easy to gentle. She leads, ties, ponies, grooms, loads, lunges, bathes has been saddled and ponied- all the baby horse stuff. But she was diagnosed by x ray having juvenile bone spavin in her hocks. She was documented as a foal in the wild having sustained injuries and we’re thinking that’s what’s showing up now. She will only ever be sound for light riding though being a mustang is probably much more than your average horse. She’s not been handled consistently through winter and would be a fresh start this spring but she’s very smart, sensible and wants to please. Being a mustang she’s sensitive but she’s not overly reactive and pretty easy to get along with once you get trust.
