Kissin This Asset (Lily) is a 2012 bay tobiano mare. She is by Sacred Assets (#20 Leading APHA Sire List of Point Earning Performance Horses. Sacred Assets has earned over 5600 PtHA performance points, has his APHA ROM in Western Pleasure and was a PtHA World Champion in Trail. He is the sire of World and Reserve World Champions in Halter & Performance Divisions.) Her dam is registered TB mare, Bobbie Jean.
Lily has been shown locally by an adult amateur for most of her life. She is a showmanship queen, always in the ribbons in her in hand classes. She has an amazing jog for the western pleasure ring, and also showcases a beautiful long, flat kneed trot for your hunter classes. Lily loves pattern and rail work. She has also been shown in trail, cross rails, dressage and obstacle competitions.
Lily is not a big fan of trail rides and needs a confident handler for obstacle work. Lily is just coming off 5 weeks of training to get her ready for the 2024 show season. In training, we are working on using dressage movements, specifically lateral work to increase strength and longevity. She can carry all lateral movements (shoulder in/out, haunches in/ out, leg yield and half pass) well at the walk but will need additional strength training to carry them at the trot and canter.
Lily neck reins well and has beautiful pivots on both ends. She stands great for farrier and vet work and hauls well. She is generally ridden in a snaffle but is accustomed to a gentle shank as well.
Lily is UTD on all spring care including hock injections that she needs 1x per year. She is looking for a confident intermediate or better rider in her new home.
