Red and white paint gelding that is between 18-20 years old (per vet). Previous owner lost his papers. 16 hh. He’s a handsome, big boy 😍 ❣️loads in trailer like a true gentleman ❣️stands for farrier really well ❣️new shoes on all 4 one week ago-previous owner did not shoe him ❣️dewormed one month ago ❣️vaccinated one month ago ❣️Fantastic arena horse! ❣️has done kid camps and lessons for beginners in arena ❣️teddy bear on the ground ❣️really good with dogs, tractors, cars, FLAGS, motorcycles, quads, etc…lots of exposure for this boy with no little spook ❣️was in Salinas rodeo w me last year. Loves the arena with a flag! ❣️loves water! Will cross anything. Not afraid of ocean. ❣️lunges He has his quirks and I want to make sure his person is aware and can work with him. He is a perfect arena horse and can do drill, flag, etc… I am primarily a trail rider and need a confident trail horse that I can run from the herd on. If you just want to be a passenger on a trial ride, then he’s fine, however, if you really want to give him a task and job away from the other horses, then you may have issues. Currently he has his own stall w horses on either side. I just had a vet check and had a full check up and X-rays. He has some kissing spine. Xrays available. Vet says shock therapy or injection will help that if needed. I want to set Finn and his new person up for success! I am full disclosure on all I know about him. Ask me questions and I will answer as best I can. I hate to say goodbye since I have bonded with him but I truly believe an arena rider will be best for him.
