Great trail horse, crosses water, up and down hills, clips, stands for the farrier, loads and hauls, easy keeper (except he eats A LOT because of his size), middle of the herd, stands tied all day.
My aunt died recently, so I could not ride him much this spring. He is GREEN BROKE so he is NOT a kid's horse at this moment. He is not fast and will never be a performance horse. He needs a confident rider for the next 6 months.
He is very sweet and quite social. He rides out fine by himself, but if he was kept in a pen all alone, he would go a little nutty. He needs a buddy. I put his temperament at 4/10, but if he is kept alone, he would be a 9/10.
He would do well at a guest ranch. He loves repetition. Put him in between two seasoned horses and he would have no problem carrying a large person. He is honest and will not try to outsmart you but it only 4 years old. He is not gritty or tough and is a big baby.
His rear right hoof grows at an odd angle, he cut his tongue when he stepped on his reins and his teeth are a mess, but he is not lame and eats just fine. His tail will grow out. It looks like a pom-pom right now.
