Pride is an 8 year old draft cross paint gelding. Standing 15.2 hands, this guy is big boned, athletic, and gentle, not to mention very easy on the eyes. He is a dream horse on a million different levels. Pride is a big puppy dog, easy to catch, just call him! You can saddle up and ride off and not worry. Ride him every day or let him sit, he will be the same broke horse you left off. Leave for hours by yourself on him and he will take you wherever you want to go. Safe and confident on trails, and anywhere else you take him. He was an older ladies trail horse even for a few years. Has been hauled all over the country from rodeos, to ropings, to big trail events, he really has done it all. Traffic, and town safe, has been around tractors, lawn mowers, atvs, and numerous other loud tools and toys. He takes anything and everything new with stride. He has been used outside extensively, has been ranched on, drug calves to the fire, and has had plenty of cattle doctored off of. Rope a bull, no problem, this guy will pull a house over. Easy going enough for an old timer to go check fence on or gather cattle with. Pride has been through and seen all the playday events and took to it eagerly with the ability to compete. Don't confuse yourself with him being a 1D type barrel horse, but with his shape and size, he can get down and moves around really nicely. He's a switchend rope horse that is pretty jam up, and loves doing it. He is on the muscle athletically in the arena, and has a big motor to go with it. No buck, bite, rear, kick ect at all with him. Heβs just all business when you swing a leg over him. Ready for any job or task asked of him from his new owners. He has a hefty resume for his age. Heβs ponied race horses on the track, been a pick up horse at local and high school rodeos, and has had tons of ropes thrown off him in an arena or out in the brush. He has been used in the sale barn, and will make it super easy for you opening and closing gates. He would be a handy kids dream. Crazily enough he's even dabbled in a little english riding and small jumps. Fancy broke enough he looks like a pro doing it. Could be put to work that direction and would very easily excell. This gelding is fancy broke and can really ride around, gentle and as kind as they come, but with that being said, not a beginners horse, unless youοΏ½
