Ragen is a 2024 Oldenburg-approved filly by Ridley. Ridley is a son of Rotspon (Rubenstein I). Ridley's size makes him an attractive option for riders who are looking for something a little smaller. Ridley successfully competed in-hand, including several Grand Championships. As a two year-old and four year-old he was champion of his IBC class at Dressage at Devon with scores in the 80's. He was Reserve Champion at First Level Horse for Region 1 finals. The following year he qualified for GAIGs and BLM's at Third Level with scores in the mid-70's. In 2009 Ridley had scores in the 70's at Fourth Level. Competing at PSG in 2010 he qualified for Regional Finals with scores in the 60's. His progeny are easy-going and uncomplicated and easy to start. There are currently four total Ridley offspring residing at AMS. Ragen, like her siblings, is the most laid-back filly you will find. She is inquisitive and very friendly. She loves to be with people and will walk up to you in the paddock. She has the most perfect conformation you will see, receiving an 8 on it at her inspections. Ragen is incredibly light on her feet - she barely touches the ground and is uphill. Her dam is an exceptionally correct Thoroughbred mare who is in the Main Mare book and passes on her natural athleticism. Ragen is quiet enough for an adult amateur but talented enough for a professional. She will be easy and workmanlike and will have success in both the Dressage and jumping rings - she could go anyway her rider wants. She is reasonably priced at $7500 to make room for the 2025 weanlings but negotiable to the perfect home. References required. Video can be viewed at www.allisonmckenziesporthorses.com
